Change Careers with The Oxford Program

One thing that I swore that I’d never do again was to work for someone else. If you measure success by how much money you make then I guess I was pretty successful. I measure success by how I feel about what I do for a living. Having had a career in upper management for a large corporation I made more money than I really needed and my lifestyle showed it. I had the fancy car, the big house, the cottage getaway, trips abroad. But none of it mattered. I was good at what I did but the sad thing was that it didn’t make me happy. I had developed an ulcer before I was 40 and another shortly after that. I would have still been working at the same career had it not been for the career counseling I received at The Oxford Program.

I found their website online and took the career test. The results advised me that I wasn’t suited for the type of work I had been doing and that I was better suited to be self employed. The strange thing was that I had been thinking of starting my own business but I had simply dismissed it as wishful thinking. And while I’m not making quite the same money that I had made in my previous career, changing careers has made me far happier than all the money I would have made. My health has improved immensely and my wife is thrilled with the “new man” I’ve become. If you’re unhappy in your present career or simply want to find out if a new career would suit you, check out The Oxford Program.
